Lynbrook Police Seek Suspect in Hit-and-Run

Nassau County Police and the Lynbrook Police Department are looking for a suspect who they said struck a woman with their vehicle and drove away early Tuesday morning. 

The accident occurred near the intersection of Merrick and Nieman Avenue at about 7 a.m. and the only description of the suspect given was that they were driving a dark-colored sedan, according to Newsday. 

The victim was not seriously injured and was sent to a nearby hospital for treatment, according to police.
