Nicole Manza, a senior at Malverne High School, has been recognized with an honorable mention for a drawing she submitted to the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers.
Her work received an honorable mention in the drawing category of the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards for 2013.
The Alliance is a nonprofit organization that identifies teenagers with exceptional artistic and literary talents and brings their remarkable work to a national audience.
