Malverne Students Chosen to Perform at National Convention

Jordan Tyson and Bria Hydrick, two student-musicians from Malverne High School, were recently chosen to perform at the American Choral Director’s Association Eastern Division Conference in Baltimore. 

Students auditioned for a spot in the conference by submitting a digital recording to the association in June 2013. This is the second time Malverne School District has had students selected for this prestigious ensemble.

Teacher Kenneth Zagare was chosen for the adult edition of the ensemble on their selection. This year they are all performing as part of the Chinese Repertoire Ensemble and will be performing the piece in Chinese.
