Third-grade students at Davison Avenue Intermediate School in the Malverne School District participated in a special program titled Steer Clear of Bullies from Child Abuse Prevention Services.
Representatives from the organization held a two-session interactive workshop, comprised of writing activities, role-playing and classroom discussion, for students. The program focuses on promoting social skills, assertiveness and bullying prevention.
