Malverne, West Hempstead Students Set to Make Beautiful Music at County Festival

Long Island University's Tilles Center will be filled with music this weekend created by the talented student performers selected for the All-County Music Festival, including 20 from Malverne and 33 from West Hempstead.

Hundreds of students Hundreds of students auditioned for this honor at the NYSSMA Solo Evaluation Festivals held last spring. These students have been participating in rehearsals at various venues across Nassau County to prepare for the concerts. All-County is sponsored and run by the Nassau Music Educators Association (NMEA,) an all-volunteer organization made up of music teachers and supporters of music education.
