Open for Business on Labor Day

These local stores will not be closed on Monday, Sept. 3.

While many businesses will be closed this Monday in recognition of Labor Day, there are more staying open than you might think, some with modified hours.

If you need to grab a carton of milk, a bite to eat or some last-minute fix-ins for your holiday BBQ,  will be open from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.; will open from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., and will stay open from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

will also open up on Monday at 5:30 a.m. and close at 2:30 p.m.  in West Hempstead is sticking to its regular business hours, 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., despite the holiday.

 in Lynbrook and West Hempstead will be open for regular business hours. will be too. And ofcourse, the two  stores in West Hempstead, will be open because, well, they never close.

No barbecues to attend? You can still get a delicious sit-down meal in West Hempstead at , which will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., and , open from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. The  and the in West Hempstead are open 24/7 and that won't change Monday. The Malverne Diner will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and the kitchen at , also in Malverne, will be open from 11:30 a.m. to midnight (bar closes at 4 a.m.)

La Regina Pizzeria and in Lynbrook are both open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. if you want to dine-in or order take-out. is also open, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Chain restaurants like ,  and in West Hempstead, and , , Pizza Hut and in Lynbrook will also open for business as usual. 

Whether you need to pick-up some sunscreen, bug spray, medications or personal hygiene products, stores in West Hempstead and Lynbrook will be open for normal business hours. 

Did you run out of food for your pet? Don't worry, in West Hempstead will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., in Lynbrook, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
