Glass Slipper Saga Comes to Malverne's Gaddis Park [Photos]

Many Malverne families filled in Westwood Tuesday night to see Cinderella, her fairy godmother, evil stepsisters and her prince.

, a Lynbrook-based theatre company, performed Rodgers and Hammerstein's  a musical based on the popular fairytale. The free outdoor show was sponsored by the Malverne Merchants and Professionals Association, which also provided complimentary popcorn to the audience.

Residents of all ages were captivated as the cast --  Emma Harrington (Cinderella), Tom Lynch (Prince), Carrie Hefferman (Godmother), Donna Morales (Stepmother), Caitlin Nofi and Danielle Coutieri (stepsisters), Barbara Kirby (Queen), Jagger Kugler (King) and Patrick Regan (Herald) -- brought their favorite characters to life.

A few girls even dressed the part, doning puffy blue ballgowns and tiarras to match the musical's ingenue.
