Sopranos' Actor Leaves Kitchen at Lynbrook Restaurant

Joseph Gannascoli parts ways with Il Luogo.

After being "whacked" on the hit HBO show The Sopranos, actor Joseph Gannascoli has been whacked again -- this time in the kitchen at Il Luogo in Lynbrook.

Just two months after it was announced that Gannascoli, a former chef, would be cooking weekly for the Lynbrook eatery, the duo has parted ways.

Newsday [paid link] reported:

Gannascoli cited "creative differences" for his exit from the restaurant, where he recently cooked every Tuesday, overseeing his own specials.

Gannascoli played gangster Vito Spatafore on "The Sopranos," who was eventually killed off on the show after it was found out he was gay.

Il Luogo is located at 159 Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.
