With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. By Carisa Giardino Nassau County police will conduct a centralized STOP-DWI enforcement initiative on Fridays and Saturdays throughout August. The initiative kicks off this Friday, Aug. 2. The department's Highway Patrol Bureau is coordinating and planning a "saturation enforcement strategy" that will target areas throughout Nassau County, according to an announcement issued by county executive Ed Mangano and police commissioner Thomas Dale.
