The Festival at St. Raymond’s – St. Raymond’s, located at 263 Atlantic Ave. in East Rockaway, holds a festival this week from Thursday to Sunday starting at 5 p.m. each day.
Living Healthy Workshop – The West Hempstead Public Library hosts this workshop Monday, which is designed to help older adults take charge of chronic conditions. Click here for more info.

Malverne Library Events – There are a number of fun, free events taking place this week. The Monday matinee movie is “Snitch” and will be shown at 2 p.m. On Wednesday, the library holds “Dig Into Clay” at 3 p.m. as artist Joyce Raimondo visits to “show how famous artists transform earth into art.” The event is for kids entering third grade and up. Weather Update - It looks like the heat wave is behind us. The National Weather Service says that temperatures should sit in the low 80s this week. However, thunderstorms are likely throughout the week with a strong chance of rain. Check out the full forecast here.
