Valley Stream Union Free School District 24 proudly held commencement ceremonies this June to honor the 2025 graduating classes of Robert W. Carbonaro School, William L. Buck School, and Brooklyn Avenue School.
“These ceremonies represent more than just the end of elementary school. They are a celebration of each student’s potential and the community’s collective commitment to their success,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Unal Karakas. “We are so proud of this years’ graduating classes and can’t wait to see what they accomplish next.”
Each ceremony, hosted at the William L. Buck School auditorium, marked a meaningful milestone for students as they completed their elementary school journeys. Graduates were recognized for their hard work, dedication and growth throughout their years in the district as each received a diploma.
