Valley Stream 24 Sixth Graders Host Successful Annual Car Wash Fundraisers
William L. Buck School and Robert W. Carbonaro School each recently hosted their annual sixth-grade car washes
William L. Buck School and Robert W. Carbonaro School, part of the Valley Stream 24 School District, each recently hosted their annual sixth-grade car washes at AJ Hendrickson Park in Valley Stream.
On their respective days, enthusiastic sixth-grade students, supported by their dedicated parents, rolled up their sleeves to wash dozens of vehicles. Their teamwork and commitment helped raise valuable funds to support upcoming sixth-grade activities and events planned for the school year.
“The energy and community spirit on display was incredible,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Unal Karakas. “It’s always inspiring to see our students, families, and community come together in support of our schools.”
