'Walk This Way' Into Retirement, As Aerosmith Has Farewell Tour
The legendary band will hit the stage at UBS Arena on Sept. 9 and MSG in Jan.

ELMONT, NY — Legendary rockers Aerosmith are hitting the road one more time.
Their "Peace Out" tour opens on Sept. 2 in Philadelphia. A week later, Aerosmith fronted by Steven Tyler, will play UBS Arena on Sept. 9.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 5 at 10 a.m via Ticketmaster.

Aerosmith, a 2001 inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, is known for a string of hits including "Walk This Way," "Love In An Elevator" and "Dream On."
Their eponymous, first album debuted 50 years ago.

The Black Crowes will join Aerosmith on the North American tour that has 40 dates into January, including Madison Square Garden on Jan. 19.
However, one of Aerosmith's originals, drummer Joey Kramer will not perform at the farewell shows.
"He has regrettably made the decision to sit out the currently scheduled touring dates to focus his full attention on his family and health," the band said in a statement.
