West Hempstead Business Badly Damaged By Fire: Police
The fire impacted Eye Deal Optical on Hempstead Turnpike.
WEST HEMPSTEAD, NY —A West Hempstead business was engulfed in flames on Thursday night.
Eye Deal Optical, part of a mini shopping plaza on Hempstead Turnpike, was unoccupied at the time of the fire, police said.
Firefighters from Elmont and Lakeview, along with other departments extinguished the blaze.
