WH's Burger Bite to Compete in ‘Battle of the Burger’
The restaurant has been chosen as a top 10 finalist in the contest.
One local burger joint could win the coveted crown of the best burger on Long Island.
West Hempstead’s Burger Bite is set to compete in the first annual “Battle of the Burger,” hosted by Long Island Pulse magazine and sponsored by Amstel Light. The winning restaurant will win an all-expense paid trip to the 2014 South Beach Food & Wine Festival.
The event takes place on Sunday, August 4 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Shorefront Park in Patchogue.

The best burger will be judged by people in attendance. General admission to the event is $25 and includes burger tastings from the top 10 restaurants, complementary Amstel Lights and beverages, free parking and live entertainment.
