An Election Without Candidates
Massapequa is going to hold a write-in school board election, since no candidate filed on time. What do you think this means?

The Massapequa school district is going to hold a very unusual election next month.
They will vote to fill a seat on the Massapequa School Board despite the fact that no candidate is officially on the ballot/
The district clerk said that incumbent Tim Taylor missed the deadline to file by five minutes and nobody else picked up nominating petitions.
So the district will be holding a write-in election on May 21. Taylor said he still wants to be considered as a write-in candidate, but we're wondering if the dynamic of the election has been changed.
We want to know what you think? Will the election proceed as smoothly as it has in the past? Will there be surprise candidates or will the race be won by a known entity?
