School Board: For the second day in a row, the Massapequa Board of Education will meet. On Wednesday they voted to approve the Nassau Boces Budget. On Thursday they will take a vote on approving the district’s 2013/2014 spending plan. The meeting at 8 p.m. will be at Massapequa High School.
Girls Lacrosse: Massapequa hosts North Shore High School at 4:45 p.m.
Softball: The Chiefs travel to Carey High School, with First pitch at 4:15 p.m.
Baseball: Massapequa travels to Farmingdale for a 4 p.m. game.
Book Discussion: Massapequa residents will gather at the Bar Harbour Library at 8:30 p.m. to read the 2013 “Long Island Reads” selection, “Sutton” by J.R. Moehringer as well as discuss the book. No registration is required.
