Catalytic Converters Stolen From Massapequa Cars: Nassau Police

MASSAPEQUA, NY — The Nassau County Police Department reported the following incidents in the Massapequa area for the week of Feb. 3-10.

All charges are merely accusations.

  • Two men stole items from an unlocked car parked on Bayview Avenue in Massapequa on Feb. 4.
  • A man and woman stole clothing from Marshalls, located on Hicksville Road in North Massapequa, on Feb. 2.
  • Katherine Quintero-Daza, 37, of East Elmhurst, and Diana P. Sanabria-Trivino, 47, of Fresh Meadows, were both arrested on Feb. 5 and charged with shoplifting from Macy's in the Sunrise Mall in Masaspequa.
  • Two air hoses were damaged at Auto Repair Broadway, located on Broadway in Massapequa, on Feb. 9.
  • A catalytic converter was stolen from a car parked on N. Oak Street in North Massapequa on Jan. 25.
  • A catalytic converter was stolen from a car parked on Pacific Street in Massapequa Park on Feb. 6.
