Town Meeting: The Oyster Bay Town Board meets for the final time in 2012 at 10 a.m. On the agenda is a hearing on a proposal to allow the Oyster Bay Fire Department to purchase a vehicle. The meeting is at Town Hall North, 54 Audrey Avenue in Oyster Bay

Town Hall: Meanwhile, Town Hall South in Massapequa will have late hours on Tuesday Night. They will be open until 7:30 p.m.

Hoops: The Boys basketball team travels to Uniondale at 7 p.m. While the Girls hoops squad hosts Uniondale for a 6:15 p.m. tipoff.

Wrestling: The Chiefs host Farmingdale at 7 p.m.

Book Discussion: The Central Avenue Library's Literature and Life program will feature a discussion of "Under the Nest" by Iris Murdoch. It meets at 1p.m.
