MASSAPEQUA, NY — The first Long Island Cancer Alliance will meet later this month in Massapequa.

The cancer consortium will include Long Island-based health systems, coalition, houses of worship and community-based organizations.

The alliance was formed as a response to the 2022-2024 Community Health Assessment Surveys for Nassau and Suffolk counties. Long Islanders are concerned about cancer for themselves and the community.
