Grace School Student Put in Charge for a Day
Second grader wins raffle to be Assistant Head of School for a day.

It's every child's fantasy and for one day it came true for a second grader at Grace Day School in Massapequa.
Summer Sescila won a raffle to be an "intern for a day," and got to help run things along with Assistant Head of School Patricia Quinto.
Summer got to open the morning school assembly, lead students in the Pledge of Allegiance and morning prayer.
She also helped out in the office assisting in editing the weekly school calendar, a putting together meeting schedule.
"This gives the students exposure to various job positions and provides an opportunity for youngsters to see how much we put into teaching and caring for them" Quinto said.
Summer sounded like a veteran educator.
"It was nice to see that the children were interested in learning and showed good behavior," she said.
