LI Team Eliminated From Little League World Series

MASSAPEQUA, NY — A second crushing defeat has sealed the fate of the Massapequa Coast, eliminating them from the Little League World Series.

The Coast fell to the team from Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania 7-1. It was the Coast's second game in the series.

The boys from Massapequa scored the first run of the game in the second inning, but the Pennsylvania team quickly rallied, scoring three runs in the third inning and four in the fourth.

The Coast lost their first game to Honolulu in a 12-0 shutout that was ended in the fifth inning with a mercy rule.
