LONG ISLAND, NY — With school starting up again, this could be the last week of summer for many Long Islanders. Luckily, it looks like it will be beautiful and sunny throughout the week.
With the exception of a slight chance of showers on Tuesday, this whole week looks to be warm and sunny, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures will be in the 80s all week, peaking with a high around 87 on Wednesday. Temperatures will drop into the low 80s by Friday.
The only rain in the forecast is for Tuesday. There's a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon and evening. Even if it does rain, it should be clear by Wednesday morning.
