Long Island Weather: Snow Expected During Cold, Rainy Week
Temperatures are going to drop as the week goes on, leading to the possibility of snow across Long Island.

LONG ISLAND, NY — It seems that Monday's warm weather isn't going to stick around for very long. In fact, Long Island is likely to see snow by the middle of the week, according to the National Weather Service.
Today is a wonderfully warm day, with highs topping out around 60. But there's going to be a steep drop going into Tuesday, with rain Monday night dropping the temperature down closer to 40 degrees.
Tuesday will be clear, but the clouds will likely be back on Wednesday, the NWS said. And with them, some snow. Though there's a good chance of snow during the day, it will likely just be a dusting — less than an inch is predicted to fall.
