A thief snatched a religious chain from a man he had just met at the Westfield Sunrise Mall Saturday police said.
The 23-year-old victim had met the robber at the food court shortly before the 9:15 p.m. robbery.
As he was shaking his hand, robber grabbed his Rosary bead chain from his neck.
He fled from the mall in a silver Toyota Corolla. The robber is described as a black male about 5-foot 7 inches tall and weighing about 175 pounds. The stolen chain had a Virgin Mary charm on it.
