Man Steals From Several Nassau Stores Since 2022: Police

NASSAU COUNTY, NY — A Suffolk County man was taken into custody on Wednesday in connection to a string of larcenies in Nassau County dating back to June 2022.

Emmitt Smith, 43, of Bellport, was arrested and charged with six counts of fourth-degree grand larceny and four counts of petty larceny.

  • August 5, 2023 -- Macy's, Green Acres Mall, Valley Stream

Smith has been previously arrested a total of 46 times (15 felony arrests and 31 misdemeanor arrests), police said.
