Massapequa To Hold Holiday Lighting Ceremony In December

MASSAPEQUA, NY — 'Tis the season to start planning for the holidays.

The Massapequa Chamber of Commerce is saving the date for its annual Christmas Tree and Chanukah Menorah Lighting Ceremony.

It takes place on Saturday, Dec. 7. (Dec. 8, if rescheduled due to the weather.) This year, Chanukah begins on Christmas night and runs until Jan. 2.

During the event, live music will be played, hot chocolate will be provided and a certain bearded man from the North Pole will make an appearance.

The 6 p.m. ceremony is at Klestinec Park on Broadway in Massapequa.
