To celebrate the Festival of Lights there will be several Menorah lighting ceremonies in the area:
Her'e a look at some:
Village of Massapequa Park: The Village will hold their annual tree and menorah lighting Saturday at 5 p.m. It will be at the intersection of Park Boulevard and Front Street.
Wantagh Chamber of Commerce: The Wantagh Chaber will hold a Christmas tree and Menorah lighting Sunday from 3p.m. to 5 p.m. The ceremony will be held at Triangle Park near the intersection of Beech Street and Railroad Avenue.
Temple B'nai Torah: The Wantagh-based temple is hosting a Hannukah service including a candle lighting Friday at 7:30 pm. The temple is located at 2900 Jerusalem Avenue.
Eisenhower Park: Nassau County has announced that a six-foot Menorah will be lit Monday at 6 p.m. in Parking Field 2 of the Park.
