Million Dollar Lottery Ticket Sold In Massapequa

As New Yorkers line up to buy Powerball tickets as the jackpot skyrocketed to $540 million, a second prize ticket worth $1 million for Wednesday's drawing was sold in Massapequa, officials said.

The lucky ticket was sold at the Tutal Convenience store on Broadway. A state lottery spokesperson said the odds of winning the second prize are 1 in 1.5 million.

The drawing for the $540 million prize takes place Saturday.
