Nassau Victim Of November Hit-And-Run Dies
Police say the 72-year-old died in the hospital from injuries she received after being hit by a truck on Nov. 15.

MASSAPEQUA, NY — The victim of a November hit-and-run in Massapequa has died, Nassau County police said.
Police identified the victim as 72-year-old Arlene Fierro, of Massapequa.
According to police, Fierro was hit by a dark-colored, late-model Ford pick-up truck at the intersection of Front Street and Park Lane in Massapequa at 1:23 p.m. on Nov. 15. The truck fled the scene.

She suffered severe trauma and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she died on Dec. 1.
Police ask anyone with information about this hit-and-run to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
