WATCH: Police Seek Man in Seaford Purse Theft

Cops say the man may be involved in other thefts in the area.

Nassau Police are searching for a man they say stole a woman’s purse from her car in Seaford on May 25.

At 3:53 a.m., the woman discovered her purse had been taken from her car, which was parked on Hicksville Road, cops said. The purse reportedly contained credit cards and $110 in cash.

Officials released a photo Tuesday of a man who was caught on camera using the victim’s credit cards at 7-Eleven on Sunrise Highway in Seaford, they said.

The man may be involved in similar purse snatchings in the area, cops said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
