Purse Robbery at Sunrise Mall

A man in a car drove up to a woman in the Sunrise Mall Parking lot, and snatched her purse, police.

The 58-year-old victim was walking in the lot at 7:48 a.m. when a man drove up to her in what cops said was a newer model black sedan.

The driver, a male black about 25 to 30-years-old, pushed the woman to the ground and grabbed her pocketbook.

He then fled north through the parking lot. 

The woman was treated at the scene for hand and knee injuries. The thief made off with a cell phone and a credit card.
