Rose Marie Walker Expected to be Re-Elected in 17th L.D.

Rose Marie Walker, R-Hicksville, is expected to be re-elected to serve another term as legislator of Nassau County’s 17th District, which includes Farmingdale and North Massapequa.

With 86.67 percent reporting, Walker leads Frederick W. Hagermann II, D-Hicksville, by the count of 9,274 to 2,936.

She was first elected in 2009 and then re-elected in 2011. She served six years on the Oyster Bay town board. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in education from Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, N.C.
