There it was in black and white brazenly displayed in the subject field: three days to a completely new you!

A bold and potent promise purporting a magical secret remedy to masterfully embody your best self.

It was as obtrusive and coy as a tantalizing poster with flashing lights possessing as much prowess as a wistful New Years resolution on steroids enabling one to overcome the impossible mishaps and imperfections of self and life.

What could possibly go wrong?

With such a deliberately luring statement meant to turn heads, garner attention, and enroll as many people as possible, the auspicious words have the staggering potential to draw in a multitude of prospective clients especially those who are tired of or disgruntled with the old self.

For a certain amount of cash, unsuspecting individuals can supposedly empower the transformative protocols and partake in the chance of the lifetime for a totally renewed and revised persona in three days.

Even though it is an inviting proposal, the wise can peer through its fabricated facade and wishful thinking.

Old timers referred to such outrageous and unfounded claims as quackery by charlatans selling snake oil.

With so many imposters out there vying for control of your money and mind, where do you seek refuge?

Jesus is the Good Shepherd, who protects, shelters, and is the ultimate sanctuary.

He also humbly, willingly, and successfully revamped everything in three days for all people over two millennia ago with Divine intervention.

During those ground-breaking three days, He was Crucified, died, entombed, and was resurrected back to a renewed life.

This stellar and Divine transformation also reinvigorated His witnesses, who relentlessly preached of what they observed and learned by Jesus.

The completely new Jesus destroyed the Temple and its old-world beliefs to rebuild and institute a new covenant with God's faithful people.

Only God can decree and accomplish such dramatic alterations and deliver, big time.

We are a totally new people because of His glorious resurrection.

The next time you are enticed by lofty promises, remember everything has already been changed for you.

Give thanks and praise to the Lord our God, always.
