Spirited

Religions are rich in symbolism.

For example, the mysterious and mighty Holy Spirit encapsulates nine distinct forms, the more familiar three are purifying fire, clearing wind, and the gentile dove.

Lesser known are the seal of Baptism and Confirmation, life giving water, clouds, anointing with oil, Divine touching fingers, and wine because the Apostles were thought to be inebriated with the joyful Spirit on that righteous day.

Over two thousand years ago on Pentecost, the Apostles witnessed driving winds of great magnitude from the sky and tongues of flames ceremoniously balanced upon their heads while their minds and hearts were energetically transformed and filled with irreproachable esoteric wisdom and understanding that surpassed human comprehension, logic, and ability.

The Enabling Force was comparable to an enrapturing massive adrenaline surge of the Soul.

What commenced as a terrifying phenomenon was quickly, elegantly, and sublimely transmuted into ineffable fulfillment and bliss, forever altering and recalibrating them, and guiding the Apostles to the streets to zealously exhort in foreign languages verifying and testifying to the glory of God.

This newfound verve generated fervent steadfast devotion, focus, and reckoning until the end of their mortal days.

Common natural elements represent the Holy Spirit, who delivers messages and converts landscapes and minds simply by His sovereign Presence.

Often depicted as flames, for the purpose of incinerating worldly concerns and false beliefs and empowering and enlightening with unforeseeable erudition and gusto, He leaves His undeniable mark.

Wind is a powerful force that stirs, clears, and knocks over.

As diligently as Man covets the role of ruler of his domain, he cannot control wind as it is natural and Greek etymology links wind to Spirit and breath.

As such the Holy Spirit can be forceful, bold, evoking, sage, and visionary, and therefore, imparts and instills clarity, altering the lens from the self and myopia to horizonal and universal vistas.
