TOBAY Beach Dates Extended To Sept. 11
The town is also hosting a free Waterfront Festival at the beach on Sept. 10.

TOWN OF OYSTER BAY, NY —The Town of Oyster Bay announced that it was extending the season at TOBAY Beach. The beach will now remain open through the weekend of Sept. 10 and 11.
Lifeguards will be on duty to protect residents as they enjoy the nice weather and swim in the ocean during the last days of summer.
"Residents are invited to savor the last of the summer season by visiting our beautiful TOBAY Beach for one more weekend this September," Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino said. "Not only will TOBAY remain open, but admission into the beach will also be free, making a visit to this staycation destination even more convenient and enticing."

Residents visiting the beach on Sept. 10 can also enjoy the town's free, family fun Waterfront Festival at TOBAY Marina. In addition to a free concert featuring Jimmy Kenny and the Pirate Beach Band, the ultimate beach party tribute band to Jimmy Buffet, Kenny Chesney, and the Zac Brown Band, the day of free family fun will feature marine and outdoor exhibits, a children's snapper derby, police boat demonstrations and more. The festival will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
