Town Sets up Charging Centers

With no end in sight for power outages , the Town of Oyster Bay is going to allow  the public to use some of their facilities to charge cell phones and other gadgets.

Residents can go to three locations:

• Town Hall North at 54 Audrey Avenue in Oyster Bay.
• Town Hall South at 977 Hicksville Road in Massapequa
• The Bethpage Ice Skating Rink 1001 Stewart Avenue in Bethpage.

A town spokesman said that residents will be taken on a first come, first serve basis, but the Town may expand the program if there's a large demand for the service.
