Winning Lotto Ticket Sold In Massapequa Supermarket

MASSAPEQUA, NY — A top-prize lotto ticket was sold at a Massapequa store. So check your pockets, because you may be a few thousand dollars richer.

The ticket was a top-prize drawing for the Dec. 14 Take 5 Evening, and is worth $13,848. It was sold at Stop & Shop at 702 Hicksville Road in Massapequa.

According to the New York Lottery, Take 5 players with midday and evening draws on the same ticket must check their numbers at nylottery.ny.gov to determine if they have the winning numbers for the corresponding midday or evening drawing.

Prizes can be claimed up to one year from the date of drawing.
