1 Seriously Injured In Crash With Construction Vehicle In Medford: Police
He disregarded a flagger working with the construction crew and crashed into a parked construction vehicle, Suffolk police say.
MEDFORD, NY — A man was seriously injured after his vehicle crashed into a parked construction vehicle in Medford early Thursday morning, Suffolk police said.
Pawel Andrzejczyk, was driving a 2015 Mercedes-Benz eastbound on Express Drive South, near
Victorian Lane, when he disregarded a flagger working with the construction crew at 1:42 a.m., police said, adding that Andrzejczyk drove into a closed off section of the road and struck a construction vehicle.
Andrzejczyk, 44, of Medford, was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of
serious injuries, police said.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check, according to police.
