Employee Injured in Armed Robbery in Medford
Two men with guns robbed a store on Route 112 Sunday night, just two days after a similar robbery a half mile away.

MEDFORD, NY – A clerk was injured during an armed robbery at a Medford store late Sunday night, Suffolk Police said.
According to police, two men, one displaying a handgun, entered the 24/7 Convenience Store located at 2222 Route 112 at about 11:38 p.m. One of the men struck the counter clerk and demanded cash. The clerk complied and the men fled on foot. The clerk was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Detectives are asking anyone with information about the robbery to contact the Fifth Squad at 631-854-8552.
The robbery occurred two days after a similar robbery at a gas station a half mile down the road on Route 112. Police have not said if they believe the robberies are related.
