Police say the man had been hit by a car while he was crossing the street.
ROOSEVELT, NY. — A 98-year-old man died Monday after succumbing to injuries sustained in a Nov. 3 car crash, police said.
Roosevelt resident Nathaniel Adams was crossing Nassau Road just after 9 p.m., near the intersection with West Fulton Avenue, police said. While he was crossing the street, police say a Chrysler being driven by a 25-year-old man struck Adams, who suffered serious injuries and was hospitalized in critical condition.
Almost a week later, police announced Adams’ death. Police did not report any arrests or charges in connection with the crash.
