NORTH MERRICK, NY — A crash on the Meadowbrook Parkway blocked the two right lanes southbound at Exit M6E (Southern State Parkway), according to 511ny.org.

The crash was first reported just after 3 p.m.

The Wantagh Parkway would be an option to avoid traffic backups in the area.
