Lindsay Lohan to Play Elizabeth Taylor in Biopic

Native Merokean Lindsay Lohan will play Elizabeth Taylor in an upcoming biopic on Lifetime.

According to Newsday:

Lohan will wear 66 different looks in the 80-minute biopic. The actress, 25, dyed her hair to Taylor's deep brunette and wore opalescent, lavender contact lenses in order match the star's famous eyes, the magazine said. She was costumed in reproductions of Taylor's famous jewelry, including her 33-carat Krupp diamond, and vintage dresses.

"Liz & Dick," which chronicles Taylor and Richard Burton's romance, will premiere on Lifetime later this year. Production on the TV movie began Monday in Los Angeles, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

While a costumer designer told People magazine that "you'd swear it was Elizabeth" when Lohan walked on set, we want to know what her hometown Merokeans think.
