NICE Bus South Shore Rideshare Adds Saturday Service
It's available for customers from Lynbrook to Merrick.
GARDEN CITY, NY — South Shore residents have more chances to use NICE Bus as it expands the rideshare program.
NICE Mini is now providing Saturday service between Merrick and Lynbrook, starting Oct. 21.
Started in the summer of 2022, NICE Mini allows customers to reserve rides to and from any desired location along the south shore corridor, which extends approximately one-half mile north and south of Merrick Road and Atlantic Avenue.

"With the rising popularity of private ride services, NICE is looking to provide a similar level of flexible, convenient service at an affordable rate," Jack Khzouz, CEO, said.
NICE-Mini Saturday service runs from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.; weekday service is offered between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. The one-way fare for a NICE-Mini ride is the same as any ride on a fixed NICE route - $2.90 --paid by coin, MetroCard or NICE transfer on board, or via credit card in advance on the app.
