• Three Teens Arrested After Stolen Gun, Controlled Substance Found In Car: Police (patch.com) — Nassau County police say a traffic stop in Roosevelt led to the discovery of a stolen handgun and suspected codeine, resulting in charges against two men and a minor. One of the adults, who lives in Merrick, allegedly tried to flee before being caught and now faces drug, obstruction, and resisting arrest charges, while the others face multiple drug and weapons counts.
