Pedestrian Critically Hurt After Getting Struck By Vehicle In Nassau: Police
The 85-year-old driver remained at the scene of the Sunday night incident, police say.
NORTH MERRICK, NY — A car crash on Sunday night in North Merrick sent one person to a hospital in critical condition, police said.
An 85-year-old man, driving a Toyota Sienna east on Jerusalem Avenue, struck a 68-year-old man crossing the intersection near North Drive, police said.
The victim suffered head trauma and was transported to a nearby hospital, police said.
