- A 20-year-old Queens man was arrested and accused of robbing a Verizon Wireless store in Oceanside on Saturday. Mamady Cisse pushed an employee. (Daily Voice)
- Newsday reports that the Nassau County Industrial Development Agency granted a 20-year tax break to developers proposing to build a 72-unit apartment building on Railroad Ave. in Westbury. Farmingdale-based developers Terwilliger & Bartone Properties LLC plans to build a multistory structure where a warehouse is now. (Subscription: Newsday)
- News 12 explains that on Saturday, members of the far-right group the Proud Boys walked through downtown Rockville Centre on "Small Business Saturday."
