1 Of 2 Powerball Third-Prize-Winning Tickets Sold In Hudson Valley
Each of the tickets are worth $50,000, lottery officials said.
NEWBURGH, NY — There were two third-prize-winning tickets sold in New York for the Sept. 20 Powerball drawing, one of which was sold in the Hudson Valley.
New York Lottery officials said the two tickets — both worth $50,000 — were purchased at:
- Smokes 4 Less, 59 North Plank Road in Newburgh
- International Currency Exc Inc., 60 Smithfield Boulevard, Suite 72, in Plattsburgh
Winning numbers for the Sept. 20 Powerball drawing are 16-27-59-62-63 with a Powerball of 23, according to the New York Lottery website.

Powerball numbers are drawn from a field of one to 69. The red Powerball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26.
Drawings for the Powerball game are televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
