NEW YORK — One winter drive in New York State has been ranked #2 in the nation in a new report — with the Hudson Valley Scenic Drive taking the honors.

According to a new report by Ultimatetoys.com, which ranked the Top 100 winter road trips across the United States, according to 3,006 respondents who ranked them, the Hudson Valley Scenic Drive, from Beacon to Hudson, came in second.

"This route along the Hudson River is magical in winter, with snow-draped historic estates like the Vanderbilt Mansion and quiet riverfront towns like Rhinebeck and Hudson. Warm up at local wineries or enjoy farm-to-table dining along the way," the Ultimatetoys.com post said.
