5 Hudson Valley Colleges Land In Country's Top Schools List: Study
A WalletHub study ranked five Hudson Valley higher education institutions among the best in the country. See all the NY schools on the list.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Five Hudson Valley colleges/universities have been named among the best in the country, according to 2025 rankings released by WalletHub.
The early decision college application deadline of Nov. 1 for high school seniors is drawing near. Tuition and room and board at a four-year college now costs $28,000 to $60,000 per year, according to WalletHub.
In order to help college-bound seniors make informed decisions about where they are headed next year, WalletHub compared over 800 higher education institutions in the U.S. based on 30 key measures grouped into seven categories. These included student selectivity, cost and financing, and career outcomes. The data set ranges from student-faculty ratio to graduation rate to post-attendance median salary.
